IMPORTANT – Safety Information

  1. Eye, hearing and respiratory protection should be used, together with suitable gloves.Loose clothing should be avoided.
  2. Work pieces should be static and secured in place.
  3. The tool can produce sparks and is not suitable for use in explosion risk areas.
  4. Perago Blasting Discs are designed for use in a standard power drill. They must not be used in an angle grinder or any machine capable of speeds over the maximum safe speed of 4000 rpm.The optimum speed is around 2500 – 3000 rpm.
  5. The correct direction of rotation must be observed. This is marked on every Perago disc.

Operating Information

  1. Only very light contact is needed to get the best results from Perago discs. Applying pressure will prevent the tip oscillations that produce the blasting effect on the surface, and will reduce the life of the disc.
  2. Metal edges, bolt heads etc. should be avoided. Side strikes by these on the rubber or steel tip cups will cause premature failure of the discs.
  3. To prolong product life Perago discs should be stored in a cool, dry and dark place.
